Mock Interviews - A Tool For Student Development



The Mock interviews and career counseling sessions were conducted with the following objectives:

1. To simulate the interview process for the students, which would help students get prior practice of the interview process
2. To help students know their strengths and weaknesses
3. To make students aware about the live interview process
4. To help students improve their communication skills
5. To help students become industry-ready
6. To make students aware of various elements of selection processes used by companies, including aptitude tests, interview process etc.


PROCESS:

1. Depending on the academic schedule, the schedule of MOCK INTERVIEWS is finalized. While preparing the MOCK INTERVIEWS schedule, care is taken to ensure that the waiting time for students is minimized. Hence, MOCK INTERVIEWS are spread across some days and groups of students are given specific time slots.
2. The schedule of MOCK INTERVIEWS is communicated to the students.
3. As per the laid down schedule, the MOCK INTERVIEWS are conducted. Immediately after the MOCK INTERVIEWS, the concerned students are counseled regarding the areas where they need to improve.
