The session was a very interactive and power packed
one. A Total 97 students attended today's session.

4th Jan : Bloom's Taxonomy FDP workshop Conducted on Monday, 4th January 2021
A Workshop for all faculty HOD's on
campus was organised on 4th January 2021, by
Bandodkar College of Science with DR VN BRIMS . Dr.
Pallavi Chandwaskar, from DR VN BRIMS conducted the
workshop.
This workshop introduced participants to the concept
and applications of Bloom's taxonomy of Educational
objectives. It also focussed on the domains of
thinking and six levels in the taxonomy moving from
lower to higher order thinking skills which enables
an educator to understand from Learner's
perspective. The workshop emphasised upon the use of
these levels to frame course objectives, plan
various class activities and teaching pedagogy
through a case study to design assessment tools for
attaining the course objectives focused on
sequential progression from lower to higher order
thinking skills. Workshop has also thrown light upon
how the knowledge and implementation of Bloom's
taxonomy helps a higher educational institution to
attain the graduate attributes of a student
completing a programme as required by NBA and other
accreditation bodies. The workshop was attended by
around 35 head of Department faculty members from
Bandodkar science college, Joshi Bedekar College and
DR VN BRIMS. Participants highly appreciated the
workshop sharing that it was conducted in a very
engaging way and the knowledge shared is very useful
for designing course outcomes, teaching and
assessment tools for all faculty members.

online training programme
was organized for the staff
members of Vidya Prasark
Mandal. The programme
started from 17th April 2020
and finished on 22nd April
2020. There were 5 sessions
of 1 hour each. Total 65
members attended this
program online. The program
was designed under the
guidance of Dr Nitin Joshi,
Director, BRIMS.
The program covered 5
modules namely;
Communication skills on Day
1, Personal Image on Day 2,
Team Building on Day 3,
Career Advancement on Day 4
and Motivation on Day 5.
The sessions were conducted
by Prof Kanchan Akshay and
Dr Arloph Johnvieira, who
are the faculties of BRIMS.
There was a strong IT
support by Prof Sandeep
Moghe and his team from
BRIMS which helped to
conduct the program
smoothly. The pedagogy used
was lecture, audio-visual,
gamification method. The
participants were very
interactive and use to share
their experiences during the
session and also through
home assignment which was a
part of deliverables every
day. The purpose of this
program was to enhance the
skills of staff members and
also positively engage
employees during the period
of lockdown. Participants
were very positive and happy
after attending the sessions
and also shared through
their feedback that they
would be further interested
for any such kind of
training sessions.

She gave Guidance to students about the rights of women, awareness, issues, precautions about women safety, legal provisions, necessary vigilance, measures for combating and redressing incidents of sexual harassment and guidelines to prevent such incidences.
