With respect to the instructions received from the University of Mumbai to confer Degree/ Diploma certificates to the successful students, BRIMS organized VPM’s Annual Combined Convocation Ceremony for University of Mumbai affiliated courses on 25th January 2017 at Thorale Bajirao Peshve Sabhagruh, Thane College Campus.
Students of VPM’s K.G. Joshi College of Arts and N.G. Bedekar College of Commerce, B. N. Bandodkar College of Science, TMC Law College Thane, Maharshi Parshuram College of Engineering Velneshwar and Dr. V. N. Bedekar Institute of Management Studies (BRIMS) were the participants of the ceremony.
The academic procession led by the VPM’s Chairman Dr. V. V. Bedekar was followed by Dr. Shakuntala Singh, Dr. Madhuri Pejavar, Ms. Shrividya, Dr. Nitin Joshi, Dr. Shilpa Kamat, accompanied by Members of the Management.
Ceremony started with the blessings of goddess Sarswati by “Dipa Prajwalan”
Dr. V. V. Bedekar addressed the students on how to become good citizens of the nation by having decision power, punctuality and innovative thinking.
Convocation certificates were conferred to the students by Dr. V. V. Bedekar along with respective heads of the institute.
The ceremony closed with traditional prayer “PASYDAAN” followed by procession in reverse order.
