VPM’s DR V. N. Bedekar institute of Management Studies (DR V N BRIMS) is accredited
by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Team of assessors from NAAC visited the institute on 8th and 9th of August 2019 and the results
were announced on 11 th September 2019. DR VN BRIMS is awarded with “B++” status in first
cycle of NAAC because of the high quality standards achieved and maintained by the Institute.
Three major features highlighted by peer team were: One of the pioneering institutes of
management in Thane, ISO Certified institute twice and well-integrated IT system resulting in
cashless paperless governance.
Institute is appreciated for its conformance to the standards of quality in terms of its performance
related to the educational processes and outcomes, Industry Relations, curriculum coverage,
teaching-learning processes, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organisation,
ISO 9001:2015, governance and student services.
