MMS College in Thane Mumbai - Stay Positive, Stay Healthy!

The world is fighting with the epidemic of Coronavirus. It is not the 1st time that a virus has brought the world to standstill. History has been repeated. In the past epidemics like “Spainshflu”, “Swineflu”, “SARS” have done similar destructions to mankind. Doctors & Researchers are working hard day and night to find an antidote which can protect people from the virus but to develop one it takes time maybe months or years, until then what should be done? It is not only your physical health which would help you fight the disease but your strong mental health would play a key role here.

We have heard about the concept of “Law of Attraction”; Whatever we think or put our energy into, the universe works to make it true. What we all are doing these days is using all our energy in reading the news about virus, watching videos, sharing posts, talking with each other only about the virus; basically, what we are experiencing is Fear. Fear is a very strong vibration and more fearful we are of any epidemic it becomes a reality very fast. Greater the energy you feed for fear the more profound it becomes.

Here are some ways through which we can fight this epidemic and come out of our fear:

1) Avoid discussion about Corona: Whatever we talk is perpetuating from our experience. The best way to keep the illness away is not to talk about it. The less you talk the less you attract the energy/ virus towards you. Speak positive affirmations or talk to people who give you positive vibes.

2) Meditate: Meditation helps to relax your mind and body. Practice meditation through any form. It need not be sitting in one place and closing eyes. Meditation is engrossing yourself completely into something which disconnects you from the outer world.

3) Practice your Hobby: In our everyday busy schedule we don’t get time to pursue our hobby. This is the best time to involve yourself into something which makes you happy.

4) Family Time: It is an old saying that “A family that eats together, stay together”, owing to the recent lockdown people can use this opportunity to spend quality time with their family members and create some lifetime memories.

5) Learn a new Skill: Life is never to old to learn something new. Sit with yourself and think what is something that you wanted to learn but never did because you did not had time. Thanks to internet which has made learning possible at any corner. Learning videos and apps are available through which any skill can be learnt at the tip of a click. Utilize this time and learn something New!

Though all of us are aware about the techniques as stated above, however it is important that we preach and practice these on a daily basis to ensure that we Stay Positive and Stay Healthy.
